Effective Date: April 3, 2025
This Returns and Warranty Policy (“Policy”) outlines the conditions and procedures for the physical return, inspection, and warranty coverage of rack units (RackLite and RackVault) owned and provided by LockboxRack Inc. to property management companies (“PMs”). This Policy is to be read in conjunction with the Terms of Service and Complaints and Appeals Policy.
All LockboxRack systems, including RackLite and RackVault models, remain the exclusive property of LockboxRack Inc., even when deployed on-site. Property managers act as designated custodians and must ensure the racks remain secure, operable, and tamper-free.
In the event of service deactivation, building turnover, or relocation:
– All racks must be made available for pickup or return within fifteen (15) business days of termination.
– Units must be returned in a condition consistent with reasonable wear and tear.
– Failure to return the equipment in acceptable condition may result in:
a. Forfeiture of refundable deposits,
b. Additional invoicing for repair or replacement costs.
Deposits per rack are held to ensure compliance with return conditions:
– $199 for RackLite
– $349 for RackVault
LockboxRack Inc. warrants each rack system against material defects for a period of two years (24 months) from the installation date.
Covered:
– Frame integrity
– Locking mechanisms
– QR labeling or signage durability
Not Covered:
– Vandalism, theft, or user-induced tampering
– Unauthorized modifications
Claims must be submitted in writing with accompanying photos and/or video.
Valid warranty claims will result in replacement parts or full unit replacement at no charge within 10 business days, subject to availability. We reserve the right to send on-site agents to assess issues prior to processing warranty claims.
This policy is enforced in conjunction with our Terms of Service. Complaints regarding warranty claim denials may be escalated through our Complaints and Appeals Policy.
